Jessie

Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant

Jessica (or Jessie) has qualified teacher status with a PGCE in Primary Education and a B.Sc. in Psychology. Prior to joining Hatchlings, Jessica completed her teacher training where she developed her knowledge of the National Curriculum and how it can be adapted to support all learners. After training, she worked within a pastoral capacity for children with identified SEMH needs as well as creating and delivering bespoke learning plans for pupils who struggle to access the classroom regularly. Within this role she advised teachers and support staff, working closely with other professionals in order to better support a variety of students. Jessica has a demonstrated history of working with children and young people both home and school settings, using her expertise to address complex needs and break down barriers to learning through intensive 1:1 work. Jessica believes that learning should always be meaningful and enjoyable for the child, as they should be at the heart of any decision about their education. She is passionate about empowering teachers, parents and the wider team to feel confident in supporting children and giving them opportunities to shine. When not working, Jessica enjoys exploring what London has to offer, playing with her cats and a good nap!
