Roisin


Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant





She holds a M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology and a B.Sc. in Psychology. During her studies, she contributed to PhD research, clinical assessments and developed an in-depth understanding of therapeutic approaches. Roisin likes to stay abreast of developments in her field and hopes to one day become a Clinical Psychologist. Before joining Hatchlings London Roisin most recently worked in a training and consultancy role. She has developed her expertise through the delivery of specialist neurodiversity and mental health programmes to parents, health, social care, education and corporate organisations. Prior to that she worked with children and young people, aged 3-19 years, addressing their complex needs through 1:1 work and implementing behavioural support within education, social and emotional learning.  Roisin is focused on working with children and young people and their families in educational and social settings.  This involves exploring and understanding their individual needs and then co-developing tailored behavioural and emotional support. Outside of work, she loves to read and having moved into London is enjoying exploring what the capital has to offer!

Juli 


Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant





Juli has a BSc in Psychology and is completing her MA in Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at the University of Roehampton. Juli has worked at Hatchlings London for over 2 years as a Senior Consultant and has experience with a range of programmes, from Early Intervention to school programmes. Before starting at Hatchlings London, Juli led projects within NHS, local authorities and educational organisations advising on and co-producing resources for autistic children and families to support access to services. Juli worked as a home therapist with families and children (0-5 years) working on developing language, behaviour and motor skills. She has had a variety of experiences with neurodivergent children and young people (3-25 years) within schools and Juli is interested in building strong relationships with parents, carers and professionals to work as a team to provide well-rounded support. Juli is also bilingual, she also speaks Spanish and has worked with families who have Spanish as a first language. In her spare time, Juli likes swimming and cooking Colombian dishes for her family.

Shorna


Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant





Shorna studied a BSc in Early Years Development and Education and  MSc in (ABA) at the University of South Wales. She also obtained a PgDip Supervised Practice in ABA to become a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).  Prior to joining Hatchlings Shorna worked on a range of ABA/VB home and school programmes in Early Intervention, developing skills such as expressive communication (including Makaton and Prolo2go), self-help, social skills and academic targets. Shorna has worked in a range of settings, including nursery, primary and secondary schools, and a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). Shorna is also experienced in working with children experiencing mental health challenges, having worked in a Mental Health service. She delivered person-led interventions to adolescents and adults experiencing mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression and Tics. This involved behaviour therapy such as cognitive restructuring, behaviour activation and habit reversal therapy. She has a keen interest in early childhood and working with families and professionals to achieve a holistic approach. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, running and exploring London’s independent coffee shops!


Pearl


Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant





Pearl has a BSc in Psychology and has a particular interest in child and educational psychology. During her studies she conducted research into childhood imaginative play and its impact on activities in adult life. Prior to Hatchlings London she worked as an Assistant Psychologist in special educational needs schools and children’s homes. She conducted group and individual interventions including Emotional Literacy that focused on understanding and expressing our feelings as well as how they can affect our bodies and behaviours. Pearl enjoys collaborating with Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists to supporting young people and their parents with incontinence, feeding and other fine and gross motor skills. Before this, Pearl worked within mental health rehabilitation where her main focus was surrounding reintegrating service users into the community and supporting young women in living alongside and caring for their families and children. Pearl has an interest in play based interventions and working alongside families and other professionals to provide holistic support for each child. During her spare time, Pearl enjoys drawing, exploring London and travelling around the country.


Jessica


Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant





Jessica (or Jessie) has qualified teacher status with a PGCE in Primary Education and a B.Sc. in Psychology. Prior to joining Hatchlings, Jessica completed her teacher training where she developed her knowledge of the National Curriculum and how it can be adapted to support all learners. After training, she worked within a pastoral capacity for children with identified SEMH needs as well as creating and delivering bespoke learning plans for pupils who struggle to access the classroom regularly. Within this role she advised teachers and support staff, working closely with other professionals in order to better support a variety of students. Jessica has a demonstrated history of working with children and young people both home and school settings, using her expertise to address complex needs and break down barriers to learning through intensive 1:1 work. Jessica believes that learning should always be meaningful and enjoyable for the child, as they should be at the heart of any decision about their education. She is passionate about empowering teachers, parents and the wider team to feel confident in supporting children and giving them opportunities to shine. When not working, Jessica enjoys exploring what London has to offer, playing with her cats and a good nap!

Mala


Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant





Mala studied at the University of Kent where she obtained both her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Autism Studies BSc, and her postgraduate degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis MSc. She has worked with neurodiverse communities, including both children and adults. Prior to joining Hatchlings her experience includes working within private home and school ABA/VB programmes, as well as at a central London based ABA school. She has experience in supporting children from ages 2 to 16 years, and with individuals who used a variety of communication methods (Makaton, PECS and Prolo2go). Within her previous roles she has worked to reduce challenging behaviours and supported children to develop communication, social, academic, play, motor and self-help skills. 


She is currently seeking professional supervision to pursue her BCBA certification, and is a registered member of the UK-SBA. In her spare time Mala is also publishing her dissertation research from her masters studies. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with loved ones, watching football and attending relaxation back massage appointments! 


Sofia


Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant





Sofia holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Neuroscience and Neuropsychology, where her studies sparked a passion for exploring neurodiversity and neurodevelopmental conditions. Before joining Hatchlings, she gained a wealth of experience across diverse settings. Her journey includes conducting research in Developmental Neuroscience and working directly with children and young people in both home and school-based ABA programs, as well as special educational needs schools.Thanks to her past experiences, Sofia has deepened her understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum and various early intensive behavioural intervention programs. In her previous role, she specialised in reducing challenging behaviours and providing tailored interventions to address individual cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioural needs. 

Sofia’s approach underscores learning through play, and she thrives on creativity, constantly seeking alternative methods to ensure that learning is enjoyable and engaging. She is also keenly interested in delivering more naturalistic interventions, recognising the importance of creating interventions that align with the natural routines and activities of children. By providing practical guidance and supporting parent involvement, she aims to create a collaborative approach that maximises positive outcomes for the whole family.

Outside of work, Sofia enjoys taking long walks to explore London, attending yoga classes, and planning her next trip!

Clare


Operations & Finance Support






Clare has joined Hatchlings to assist with our Operations.  She has extensive business support and administration experience, spanning a diverse range of companies within both the private and public sectors.  During your time with Hatchlings London, Clare will be available to help you and the Consultants with all manner of operational support and finance related administration.  In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with family and friends (good food essential!), travelling, walking and adventures with her border terrier.



Laura


Operations Support & HR Manager






Laura has joined us from her previous roles as an office manager to help with the administration of Hatchlings London. She has a wealth of experience administrating offices in a variety of backgrounds, from both public and private health and social care services to large scale private sector business such as Royal Mail. She has qualifications in HR, Risk Management and Employment Law as well as great experience scheduling so she will be your first point of contact with Hatchlings for organising your support and throughout your time with us will be there to help support you and the consultants. Outside of work her two young children, office dog and husband keep her busy but she also enjoys pottery and a multitude of other crafts

Jessica


Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant

Jessica is currently studying a MSc (ABA) at Bangor University part-time. Prior to this she studied Psychology in Australia, before working in an Early Intervention Clinic, Aspire Early Intervention, one of Australia’s first multidisciplinary Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Clinics. She worked on and led the on the ground teams for some of the first fully funded NDIS Early Intervention programmes in Canberra, Australia. She has completed training in a range of Naturalistic Developmental Behavioural Interventions (NDBI), including ESDM, PRT, SCERTS and PEAK. She strongly believes in a whole family approach to behavioural intervention, as she is the elder sibling to a brother who had extreme behaviours as a child, and as such had a unique insight into the pressure this places on the whole family unit. Jessica is a Member of the UK-SBA register, providing protection for clients accessing behvaioural services in the UK. Outside of work Jessica enjoys planning her next holiday, ideally in the sun!


Erin 


Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant 




Co-founder of Hatchlings. 



Erin has a BSc (hons) in Psychology, and took a keen interest and focus on Developmental Psychology in her final year. She is registered with the BPS and the UK-SBA. She previously volunteered, worked and managed an early intervention practice and team in Scotland, and has also previously volunteered as an LSA for secondary-age children. After moving to London she worked in private practice supporting families in home, school and nursery settings.  She has a passion for full family participation in therapy programmes and particularly enjoys providing coaching to help empower families to help their own child in their everyday lives. She has training in PRT, ESDM, SCERTS, PEAK and Hanen (specifically the Learning Language & Loving It programme), as well as numerous years of experience in ABA/VB. She is a fully qualified Brick-by-Brick Programme Trainer and holds various training days throughout the year. Erin is a keen cook... it’s left to others to decide if she’s actually a “good” cook! She has just returned from Maternity leave after the birth of her second child. 

Kaylyn


Early Childhood  & Behaviour Consultant

Kaylyn holds a BA in Education (SEN & Primary) at Elon University, USA and a MA in SEN & Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) at Pennsylvania State University, USA. She is originally from the United States of America and completed her schooling years in both Australia and London. She has taught in both mainstream and a SEN schools in the USA and London. She has also worked as a home school teacher and in various 1:1 ABA roles in homes and schools across London.  As a natural-born teacher she is passionate about providing the skills for parents, carers and other teachers to find ways to connect with their children and students through individualised instruction and careful thought out behavioural and educational plans. She believes in a holistic approach and has training in ABA/VB, ESDM, Makaton, Therapeutic Play, PECS, Social Thinking, Zones of Regulation and Nutrition. She is a member of the UK-SBA. When Kaylyn is not working with children and families she is either cycling, playing tennis or cooking in the kitchen!


All our Consultants have completed a minimum of Safeguarding Level 1,  first aid course, and have complete an Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months. 


In addition all our consultants participant in weekly supervision sessions to ensure their professional development and support case management.
